None of the various spaces depicted in this collection of 17 drawings has ever truly existed. None were built, and most likely, none of them ever will. However, that doesn’t mean that they weren’t, in some way, inhabited. Quite the contrary, you see? All of them have witnessed some kind of an imaginary permanence. Traces of movements and stillnesses, of gatherings and solitude. Promises of what could or would happen, but for the moment, hasn’t. Nevertheless, all of them were, at some point, as real as anything else.It’s a shame you weren’t there to see.

Exhibition is an exploration of Ekberg's emotional landscapes. In this exhibition, divided into three parts — “All Heart”, “Road Maps” and “Extracts from Nature” — the artist takes us on a meditative journey through human emotions, the complexities of life and the beauty of nature.

During artistic residency at Estúdio Yucca in mid-May this year, surrounded by the natural context of the Ria Formosa, Tuyo created “Thoughts from the Thicket”, exploring this intersection between the ancient and the contemporary in an attempt to capture a timeless dimension through organic forms and archetypal symbols.

This exhibition is a visual celebration of the lush flora of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, in Faro. Robert is known for her intuitive, gestural, and abstract approach. The works presented are the result of the artist’s residency at GAMA RAMA, as part of the BlueTour project.
