"Heart Full" by Halina Magdalena Ekberg

19.04.2024 ------> 06.07.2024

Exhibition is an exploration of Halina Magdalena Ekberg’s emotional landscapes. In this exhibition, divided into three parts — “All Heart”, “Road Maps” and “Extracts from Nature” — the artist takes us on a meditative journey through human emotions, the complexities of life and the beauty of nature. In “All Heart”, we delve into the symbolism of the heart, exploring her personal journey of growth and self-knowledge. In “Road Maps” we travel through intricate human emotions, while in “Extracts from Nature” we are invited to reconnect with the natural beauty of which we are also part of. “Heart Full” is a profound meditation on the interconnectedness of all things, inviting us to explore the depths of our own humanity and embrace the beauty that surrounds us. In these three series, the artist creates a visual symphony that resonates with the universal rhythms of existence, asking us to listen, see and feel, with our hearts wide open.

Halina Magdalena Ekberg is a contemporary abstract artist, her practice combines the inspiration of light, nature, the environment and human behaviour. The results are graphic interpretations based on a story or theme. Mixed media, collage and printing, with the focus on colour, are the emotive forces at the core of the works. Born in London to an artist mother and an architect father of Polish descent, the graphic world was open to her at an early age. After studying and working in England, USA, Sweden and Italy, Halina now lives and works in Ayamonte (Spain). Her work is a genuine self study. Thoughts and feelings are at the heart of her interpretation of the stories she builds.
