None of the various spaces depicted in this collection of 17 drawings has ever truly existed.
None were built, and most likely, none of them ever will.
However, that doesn’t mean that they weren’t, in some way, inhabited.
Quite the contrary, you see?
All of them have witnessed some kind of an imaginary permanence.
Traces of movements and stillnesses, of gatherings and solitude.
Promises of what could or would happen, but for the moment, hasn’t.
Nevertheless, all of them were, at some point, as real as anything else.
It’s a shame you weren’t there to see.
