Exhibitions 2023

"Construções na Areia”
by Cruzes + Vargas
27.01.2023 ------> 25.03.2023
“Constructions in the Sand" is a self-explanatory title, as literally the texture/material/structure trilogy is very strong. Construction materials are used, namely wooden structures, plasters, cements, varnishes, sand paints and wall paints. Creative, simple and carefree freedom is highly valued and put into practice, this childish and naturally expressive attitude of those who build in sand as a child is even structural.

"Fora da órbita onde se escondem os pássaros?"
by Joana Rosa Bragança
14.04.2023 ------> 10.06.2023
Out of Orbit: Where Do the Birds Hide? overflows the expression of an inner cadence, step by step, stroke by stroke, spot by spot. Where the innermost becomes a foundation between other beings and places, as are the walls of a house.

“Diálogo”
by Tomás de Castro Neves
23.06.2023 ------> 05.08.2023
The set of pieces made for the Pride celebration seek to be like a place at the table. The chairs that mark the pieces symbolize this abstract place, but also the language on which we rely to formulate our speech.

“The Walter Winkalot Club”
by Tom Leamon
31.08.2023 ------> 21.10.2023
The unveiling of a diverse new collection of works by British artist based in the Algarve. Exploring new frontiers in making, the show will focus on the connection between Leamon's onsite and offsite studios and the curated exhibition space.
